On March 12, 2013, I received the first of many dreams to come that would have to do with God’s strategy and intentions for the Church and for America.
In this dream, I saw myself standing on a beach where there was an urgent scene unfolding—at least that’s what I was seeing. Then I realized I was actually standing on a stage in front of a very large group of people. All of a sudden, my vision of the beach scene began to be shown like a movie on a screen above my head, giving everyone in that room a full view of what I was seeing. What I was seeing on this beach scene was a gigantic, beached whale. Across its back were clearly written the words, “The United States of America.”
I knew the people did not understand what they were seeing on the screen, but suddenly, God anointed me to interpret the vision as it unfolded. As I was interpreting the vision, I began to urgently declare, “We have to turn this thing! We have to turn it quickly, or it will die! It’s not dead yet, but we must turn it quickly!”
Then in the “movie” of my vision, we saw that there were hundreds, if not thousands of people on this beach, who were frantically trying to help, but I knew they were only going to do more damage than good because there was no order. Then there were some who stepped forward and began to help the people get into position. As everyone was rightly positioned, they were then able to effectively work together, and they got the whale turned and back into the water.
As this part of the vision played out on the overhead screen, I began to announce, “Everyone must be in place. Some will know how to lead us. We must all be willing to listen and get in position so we can easily turn this thing back to a place where it can live.”
It was then that I realized that the people before me and those on the beach were a representation of the Church in America, and I declared, “We must be assembled properly. We can turn this nation! We can turn it, but we’ve got to get rightly positioned.” That was the end of the dream.
The beached whale in this dream obviously represented America. For a whale, water is its life source. It cannot survive without it! Biblically, water is symbolic of the Word and of the Spirit of God. The life source for America is God and the principles of His Word upon which She was founded. As the nation God intends for Her to be, America cannot survive without Him.
In 2013, God was using this dream to reveal that an urgent time that was coming. He was showing us that the United States of America was veering away from her life Source, and the days ahead were going to be a life-or-death situation for this nation. For a while, it would even seem that the purposes of God for America would be lost and that the death of this great nation would be inevitable; however, there would be a way to save it! The Church would be used by the Lord to turn America back in the right direction. But God was showing us ahead of time, that though the Church was present, we were not properly prepared, at that time, for the task ahead.
This dream was not a “wake-up call” to America; it was an urgent call to the Church. It was a call to action! We were entering a new era, and the new era would put a demand on the Church to be rightly aligned and prepared to be the Church that Jesus built us to be. We were entering a time of major transition as the Lord would begin to assemble and position us to function as His Ekklesia. It was time to know and operate in our true identity!
As members of Christ’s body, we each have a place in God’s plan, and as we each get in our place and do our part, releasing our “supply,” the Body is built up, becoming a habitation for God. We are His witnesses. So, when the Lord called the Ekklesia to get focused and rightly positioned, there was a response that launched a devoted remnant into a time of urgent preparation. Now, we have emerged from that time as a prepared people through whom the Lord can work to demonstrate His power. This is how we will turn this seemingly dying nation back to God!
The following is a portion of a word the Lord spoke to me several years ago, but I feel it is relevant, and even timely, for us now.
“The Wind is blowing! Hear it in the Spirit and know that I will blow My breath into this nation—Resurrection and Pentecost all rolled up into one unprecedented move of My Spirit. It will be an undeniable, gushing blast of My glory, My manifested presence.
“This is a point of turning. Stay in the Spirit. Stand still in My presence, and I will fill you afresh with My Wind, My Spirit. And I will release you as My ‘whirlwind’ into this nation bringing My life to what has seemed dead. I Am now releasing My whirlwind, and I will blaze an unavoidable trail through this nation that will lead and return the hearts of many to Me.
“Align with My order! I have a remnant, and with the assistance of Heaven’s hosts, they will carry My anointing, clothed in the Wind of My Spirit, and through them I will turn this nation and set it back on course.”
The stage is now set, and the prophetic destiny of the Ekklesia and of America is about to be revealed in a very powerful way, not just for this moment, but also for the sake of future generations. The Body of Christ has been positioned and assembled, and through us, God will fulfill His intentions. This is the turning point, and America will live!
Pray with me:
Father, if we evaluate the happenings in our nation through the scope of human understanding, we will surely conclude that Your prophesied destiny for America has been lost. But Your verdict has been rendered and declared. “America shall be saved,” and nothing and no one can stop what You have already set into motion! You are NOT late, and we are NOT without hope! What You have spoken, You intend to bring forth to reveal the fullness of Your purposes. As the Body of Christ, we are equipped with Your power to turn this nation back to You, its life Source! It’s time, and we position ourselves to receive from You the refreshing Wind of Your Spirit that will now catapult us as Your whirlwinds to release Your words, Your wisdom, and Your power that will awaken this nation and the nations of the earth! America may have been shaken, but She will not die; She shall be saved, in the name and authority of Jesus, amen!
Our decree:
The prophetic destiny of the Church and of America is about to be revealed in a very powerful way. This is the turning point, and America will live!
