Stay Alert
In 2015, God began to speak to me of things that were “to come”. Although I did not have full understanding of all that would entail, I felt a strong urgency to “wake up the warriors” in the Body of Christ. Intense preparation had been initiated, and some embraced that preparation; others ignored the call. But, out of that time of preparation, there is now a people positioned with experience that will propel them forward with confidence in God that produces a boldness to stand unmovable on His Word. To those with their ears and eyes open, to those who have followed with uncompromised commitment to the Father, He says, “Your moment has come! The process is giving way to the purpose!”
This word from then was describing this moment we are in now. You may not have always understood the path, but God has been leading you and preparing you for this moment—this “history making” moment!
In my notes in 2015, I wrote the following:
I sense an urgent alarm going off in the Spirit over the Body of Christ: “Stay Alert.” In your “hidden-ness” and seemingly overlooked life, you have been in training and preparation for a “God moment” in time. Although you have been used many times and in many ways to bring God glory, there is a special season of “history making” opportunities that is upon us. Nothing has been wasted; not even the years that the “cankerworm, caterpillar, and the palmerworm” have seemingly eaten away. Your life has not been wasted! It may not have always been easy, but because you have chosen to walk with Him at any cost, your life has become an investment, giving you priceless experience in preparation and training!
Even your “losses” will soon be as “gains”, for you have won Christ through them. All things have been working together for your good because of your growing love for and dependency on Him! He definitely is not through with us! Don’t look back with hope deferred and regret. See where you have been as preparation for where you are going! Through it all, His divine nature has been increasing inside us! We’ve learned to love Him more, trust Him more, depend on Him more, and walk with Him on greater levels of faith. What time and consistent obedience produce is mature sons…those who KNOW Him, and not just know about Him! We have experience with Him, and that experience will now cause us to walk into our destiny with the ability to lead others into the Glory!
“Stay alert!” Don’t give in to despair and don’t give attention to those who say God is finished! Oh, no…God’s not finished…He’s just getting started! We haven’t seen anything yet! He sees what we don’t see, and He knows what we don’t know. The next minute could be your one moment that opens the door to what you were born for! Read the whole story of David in the Bible, and you will see this illustrated! One moment changed David’s life forever, but it was his past experiences with God that gave Him confidence to step into that moment! So I tell you, hold fast to your confession of faith and stand strong in your persistent obedience and expectancy. There is a Hand on the door, and when that door is opened, no man can shut it, and no words can describe what awaits us when we step through it! “Stay alert…Everything is changing!!!”
